Last month, Creative announced their new portable media player, named the Creative Zen Vision. It’s been a year since their Creative Zen Portable Media Center debuted. But this time, I think they did a great job.
Let’s take a look at some of Zen Vision’s features:
- 3.7-inch SharpPix™ Display
- Up to 640 x 480 resolution
- 30-gigabyte storage (Up to 15,000 songs or 120 hours of video)
- Compact Flash slot
- 4.9 x 2.9 x .8 inches
- Weighs only 8.4 ounces
- Battery lasts up to 4.5 hours
- Audio codec support: MP3, WMA
- Video codec support: Uncompressed AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (Simple Profile), Windows Media Video 9 (WMV), Motion-JPEG, DivX 4 & 5, XviD (Simple/Advanced Simple Profile without GMC)
- Photo codec support: JPEG
- Comes in black or white
- Initial release price of US$399.99
Very hip gadget for people who enjoy watching videos on the move. This one’s not for me though, I get headaches trying to watch videos on my Sony Ericsson P910i.
