Palm To Ship Linux-powered Mobile Phones Soon

Palm is apparently shipping out mobile phones with Linux on them sometime this year. Rumor has it that they’ll be using Wind River Linux to power the devices—that’s the same company that makes the OS for the Mars Rovers.

After messing around a bit on a friend’s Motorola E680i. I must say I didn’t really liked these Linux phones. But for its affordable price, it does has quite a bit of features.
