Sony announced today its new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9. Successor to the Cyber-shot DSC-T7, the DSC-T9 is also credit-card sized but just a tad thicker.
Some features:
- 6 megapixel
- 2.5-inch TFT LCD
- 89.7×54.9×20.6mm
- Weighs 159g
- 3x optical zoom
- 58MB of built-in memory
- External memory: Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo
- Two anti-blur systems
With all these features, sacrificing a bit of thickness is definitely worth it. And the two anti-blur systems look very promising for clearer point-and-shoot pictures. The camera should be available 18th November in Japan at around 47,000 Yen, or US$400.
Update: According to Sony, the Cyber-shot DSC-T9 will be available in January 2006 for about US$450 at SonyStyle.com, Sony Style retail stores and authorized dealers nationwide.
