Nokia announced the official release of the Nokia 6282 3G slider cellphone in the States last week. No shocking features, no unique form factor, but I like it nonetheless. Don’t know why but I find its back view oh-so-sexy!
- GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz and UMTS 1900
- 2.2-inch (320×240) QVGA display
- 1-megapixel camera
- Integrated FM tuner
- Bluetooth
- miniSD memory card slot
- Weighs 4 ounces (113g)
According to Engadget, the Nokia 6282 should be available next year and most definitely from Cingular.

its about time phone manufacturers started making 3G phones. It puts more pressure on them to reduce them in size and giving us better prices and selection. The only other option for Aussie 3G customers is the Samsung 3G mobile phone.
