It’s great to see how manufacturers are slowly converging many of our commonly-used devices. Announced today, the LG SB130 and LG KB1300 are able to play music, take photographs, make phone calls and watch TV! No doubt, some might find this overwhelming instead. And when you converge so many devices into one, the result is some odd-looking and queer design.
Here is what I managed to decipher from the Babel-ized LG press release:

- 2-megapixels camera with auto-focus
- Up to 60 minutes of video-recording
- 300MB of memory
- 2.2-inch 262k color (256×320) QVGA display
- Virtual 5.1 channel sound
- TV-Out function
- 103 x 50 x 23.5mm
- Weighs 143g
Right now, I have no idea what are the differences between the two models. And the expected price is 600,000 Won (US$580) – no idea for which model as well. Heck, I don’t even know if they’ll ever be available outside Korea.
