MobileBurn has made an excellent indepth review of the Samsung SGH-D600. The successor to the Samsung SGH-D500, it seems like Samsung has gotten things right this time.
For those that can’t be bothered to read that whole 10-page review, here are MobileBurn’s conclusion:
“Samsung’s SGH-D600 is a phone that is oh so close to being perfect. The camera takes some really beautiful photos, the display is magnificent, the slider form factor works well, it has quad band GSM support, and a host of other wonderful traits. But it also has one glaring problem: the T9 speed. Granted, that’s not as bad a not being able to make calls or something, but for many people, texting is a way of life. It will be a slower way of life if they use the D600.”
Fortunately, the SGH-D600 looks best when coupled with a business suit. And I’d like to assume that businessmen don’t text a lot.
Here are some of its features:
- GSM/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900MHz)
- 2-megapixel camera with flash
- Bluetooth printing/PictBridge
- Video recording (MPEG4)
- 264,144 color (240 x 320) TFT display
- Dual speaker & 3D sound
- TransFlash/microSD external memory support
- TV output support
- 95.7 x 47 x 21.8 mm
- Weighs 103g
All in all, a great cellphone with a sleek look. For great deals, try getting this Samsung SGH-D600 from eBay. If you dig the look but not the price, then try getting the cheaper Samsung SGH-D500 instead.
