Motorola H5 MINIBLUE

Here’s a really cool headset announced by Motorola during CES. The Motorola H5 MINIBLUE is an in-ear headset (can you still call this a headset?) that measures a mere 33 x 41mm. The neat thing about this headset is that its built-in microphone and speaker routes voices through your ear canal. And according to Motorola, the in-ear technology actually lets you hear and talk clearly even in noisy environments.

The headset itself has a pitiful 1.5 hours of talk time. But it comes with a portable charging base that when fully charged, is able to extend the headset’s talk time by another 7.5 hours.

Electric outlet charges the portable charging base. And the portable charging base charges the H5 MINIBLUE. Get it?

The headset will work with most Bluetooth-enabled cellphone and up to 30 feet away. It’ll be available first half of 2006, with a price unknown at the moment.
