Music, Robotics

Sega iFish moves to the groove!

We mentioned the iFish last month, and it’s now official. This not-too-pretty thing will most likely stay within Japan shores, unless Hasbro decides to pick this up like they did to iDog.

Similar to that loudmouth canine, the 200 x 110 x 95mm iFish responds to music and movements with lights, sounds and dances of its own. It comes preloaded with 50 “healing” tunes, whatever the heck that is. The fish runs on alkaline batteries for up to 4 hours. So no, it’s not an ideal addition to your aquarium.

It’ll be available at a suggested retail price of 5,229 Yen (US$45). But for you and I who aren’t in Japan, you might have better luck at eBay(iFish). There’s already one available for bidding at this very moment.
