YapperMouse doubles as a VoIP phone

Similar to the Sony VN-CX1, the YapperMouse is a mouse that doubles as a VoIP phone for use with software like Skype. Instead of Sony’s clamshell form factor, YapperMouse has the typical mouse design, which seems like a disadvantage to me. Well, unless you enjoy the dirty mouse bottom on your face of course.

Nonetheless, the YapperMouse has some great features such as an 800dpi optical sensor, dual speakers (one for speakerphone operations), a wide-angle microphone, vibration alert on incoming calls, and auto sensor shut-off that keeps the mouse sensor from blinding you during a conversation.

YapperMouse is available from YapperNut, and is currently on an offer price of $29.95. And rumor has it that a clamshell version will follow in about 3 months from now.
