This has got to be one of the more interesting PC case mods. The modder has managed to fit a humble Intel P3 733EB processor, a 3.5″ SBC (single board computer) Socket370 mainboard, a 256MB notebook RAM, a 40GB hard drive, a 60W mini-ITX power supply unit, and an old VGA card cooler into a 1.5-liter Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky bottle! The guide isn’t very detailed, but I guess it should be good enough for any experienced modders. The trickier bit of this mod is probably getting the holes properly cut, which the modder sought professional glass grinder man’s help.
For the gifted people wanting to give this a shot, here are some parts you may need:
- Intel Pentium-3 733MHz for Socket370
- SBC Mainboard (Socket 370)
- Kingston 256MB PC133 Notebook RAM
- WesternDigital 40GB EIDE ULTRA ATA-100 Hard Drive
- Mini-ITX Power Supply Unit
- And of course, a bottle of Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky!
Who needs a Mac Mini!
