It looks like the Sony Ericsson P990 is going to be one hell of an expensive phone when it launches. Sony Ericsson has further delayed the P990’s launch date from Q1 to Q2. Reason? To pack it with even more features such as ActiveSync support and RIM’s BlackBerry Connect support. Suddenly the Sony Ericsson M600 announced this week doesn’t look too stunning anymore. With WiFi, 2 megapixel camera, 2.8-inch touch-sensitive screen, QWERTY keypad (real stuff, unlike M600’s pseudo keypad), and now ActiveSync and BlackBerry, the P990’s feature set is going to be so packed that it’ll probably put all phones to shame.
