If I’m not mistaken, the mobiBLU DAH-1500i is still the world’s smallest MP3 player, measuring a mere 24 x 24 x 24mm (0.94 x 0.94 x 0.94-inch) and weighing just 18 grams (0.63 ounces). Now that it’s being bumped up to 2GB, it’s probably the flash-storage player with the best capacity/size ratio.
Other than just being small, the mobiBLU has several neat features such as blue OLED display, FM radio, USB 2.0, voice recorder, SRS WOW Surround Sound, and USB rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
The mobiBLU DAH-1500i is available for pre-order now for $159.99 at Amazon, and there’s black, blue, and silver!

I just did a little math after reading
and actually the 4GB iPod nano beats out the mobiBLU in terms of capacity to size ratio by more than 200 megabytes per square inch.

How is that, when mobiBLU smaller then a square inch

Nice observation Nick! You got me there. Seems like the 4GB Nano has a ratio of about 2.645GB/Inch³, whereas the mobiBLU has about 2.409GB/Inch³.
I’m glad I said “probably“.

But in terms of relative size. If you put it to scale the mobiBLU wins.

Square inch? You’re basing this on surface area? Or are you forgetting to use the correct units here?
The iPod nano’s volume is about 80% larger than the mobiBLU’s volume (yes, that would be cubic inches), but it’s got twice the storage.

What’s the point of being the smallest technically? The cubic shape sucks, it will make a bulge in your pocket. A nano doesn’t. Therefore a nano will actually feel smaller.

smaller or not, that player is pretty cool, i may be getting one now that its over 1gb
