Computing

MacBook Pro is Apple’s new highly-anticipated notebook.

Surprise, surprise. Apple begins shipping the new MacBook Pro today and with a welcomed little extra. Apple has increased the processor speed from 1.67GHz of the $1,999 MacBook Pro to 1.87GHz, and from 1.83GHz of the $2,499 model to 2.0GHz. And additionally, with the build-to-order option on Apple Online Store, one can upgrade to a 2.16GHz. Of course, the upgrades come free. And before you start cursing, those on pre-order will be getting the upgrades as well.

This makes one wonder, why the generosity? I’m sure it’s much deeper than just pure giveaway. But for whatever reasons, the consumers got nothing to lose!
