The Sony Ericsson W950i is perfect for the music lovers. The Sony Ericsson W950i has a nice and clean look on its back.

Here’s yet another surprise from Sony Ericsson. The new W950i Walkman cellphone stands out from the crowd with its four-whooping-gigabytes of flash memory, large touch-sensitive display, and keypad that flush with the surface. Music junkies will also appreciate its dedicated music controls. Strangely, Sony Ericsson calls its color Mystic Purple. It just looks black to me.

Other features include 3G-enabled, Tri-band GSM, Opera 8.0 web browser, Macromedia Flash Lite, and FM radio. It measures 106 x 54 x 15mm (4.1 x 2.1 x .6 inches) and weighs 112g (4oz). And it lets you talk non-stop for about 7.5 hours, or left on standby for 340 hours. The jury’s still out on the text’ing performance of the flush keypad. Personally, I hate touch-screen keypads, and flush keypads will probably be similar. Buttons are so much better for text’ing due to the tactile feedback.

Release date for the Sony Ericsson W950i is currently unknown.
