I am sure all of you have seen the typical $5 red laser pointers that your boss uses for his presentations. However, what we have here today is a green laser, and not just any green laser. It is a Wicked Laser! Yup, the same ones we featured last month.
Green lasers have only been available commercially for about six years and they have since dipped down to a semi-affordable sub-$100 price range. Wicked Lasers is kind enough to send us one of their Advance Phoenix 75mW model for review.
First thought, the beam is bright and powerful. And I do mean BRIGHT and POWERFUL. Whoever I shown it to, they were all amazed at how bright it was. It was nothing like they have ever seen before, simply fascinating!
For safety reasons, if you ever do get one, we suggest that you refrain from shining it around in public, especially at airplanes. I am sure that will get you into some trouble. In addition, with such high power and intensity, it is highly recommended that you wear eye protection at all times when handling it. This amazing gadget can impress, but it can blind you as well! Therefore, safety is of utmost importance.
It is very simple to use. Simply place two AA batteries in the end of it and push the button. At first, I tested the Phoenix in a dark room, assuming I needed it to be dark so I could see the laser. Boy was I wrong. The laser bathed the walls in a bright green glow! This would come in handy in times of blackouts.
To show how powerful it is, here’s a little video:
The intensity of this baby is amazing!
When you take it outside and point it towards the night sky, it will shine through the clouds. You may not be able to see the end of the beam, and it just goes straight into the clouds. It would make a perfect tool for pointing out stars in an astronomy class.
I must say it gets rather hot after a few minutes of usage, probably because of the heat generated by the circuits in a very small-contained area. A maximum of 2 minutes of continuous usage is recommended.
In closing, I would say that this is a very nifty and impressive gadget to have, and it does what it promises. If the idea of a powerful laser packed in a tiny package thrills you, a Wicked Laser is for you!

You’ve had http://www.wickedlasers.com and http://www.laserglow.com selling laser pointers for a while now.
A new company (also Chinese like wicked) selling laser pointers is http://www.dragonlasers.com
I have one of their 125mW laser pointers. Great fun to play around with at night but very pricy.

Until recently, dragonlasers.com has been my favorite website selling green lasers, as I’ve owned lasers from both wickedlasers.com and laserglow.com.
My 125mW laser pointer broke from dragon lasers, and I asked them about a warranty, because Wicked Lasers has replaced my Fusion two times already. In the end, dragon lasers said that they would not repair my laser, and its over the 7 day period for a refund.
I’m lucky that I am only out 350$, it would have been more of a loss if Wicked didn’t honor any warranties.

LOL A very quick change of opinion. What happened luvlasers, did some one at your favourite laser website say something to upset you and now you’ve gone all premenstrual and bitchy?
Seriously, get a life or go back to playing with dolls. People can make up their own minds with out relying on you vitriol. Every seller has their pros and cons, something that your one sided irational view fails to acknowledge.
