Seiko Bluetooth Watch Puts Your Cellphone On Your Wrist

The Seiko CPC TR-006 Bluetooth watch keeps your cellphone in your bags and pockets.

Could this be the beginning of a revolutionary way to use our cellphones? The Seiko CPC TR-006 is a gorgeous watch that is designed to communicate with your cellphone, displaying various information on its screen so you could leave the phone in the bag or pockets. The watch shown in the video demo here is a prototype model. It is already capable of changing ringtone volume, alerting you on incoming SMS/emails/calls, displaying caller ID information and reading SMS straight from the watch. It is unknown whether you could plug an earphone or something to make it a hands-free as well.

The watch is expected to be released by the end of this year or in the beginning of 2007. Personally, I would love to see the ability to reject calls via the watch!

Med denne klokken kan du sjekke SMS’er, endre ringevolum, sjekke Caller ID og velge vekk telefonselgere uten å ta telefonen opp fra lommen. [...]
