Imagine having three 19″ LCD monitors, connected together side-by-side, and forming a 3840×1024 monstrous screen. Woah! The ultimate in desktop computing! And thanks to Matrox’s TripleHead2Go, successor of the DualHead2Go, there’s no longer a need to get three more graphics cards just to pull this off. Furthermore, we know that before TripleHead2Go, this is simply impossible on a notebook.
All TripleHead2Go needs is a single display output, and it can connect up to three displays, capable of up to a combined resolution of 3840×1024 (45″ diagonal). When used with a notebook, even the notebook’s display itself will still be available for usage, giving you a grand total of four screens! This is really great for increasing productivity.
Gaming would be awesome as well on the supported 3D games. At launch, TripleHead2Go will support more than 150 popular games such as Quake 4, Age of Empire III and Brother’s in Arms. Gaming resolutions supported are 3840×1024, 3072×768 and 2400×600 and 1920×480. But I’m sure you gonna need a fairly high-end graphics card for playing at higher resolutions.
The TripleHead2Go will be available this April, at a price of $299. I say if you could afford three 19-inchers, you would have no problem forking out that money for the ultimate pleasure in desktop computing!

How good is this? We need LCDs with ultra thin bezels and for their price to keep coming down.

Just imagine playing a game like CS or Source (if its supported by the game) at the max resolution.
