
If you’ve been contemplating of spoiling yourself with a 30-inch LCD monitor, here’s a little help for you. The two most notable 30-inch LCD monitor currently in the market are the Apple Cinema HD Display that was released in 2004, and the Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP that was launched less than three months ago. And thanks to CNET who made a comparison between these two models, we buyers can now decide where to throw our notes.
For the Apple Cinema HD Display, CNET found that its DVD-playback image quality is good, that it has more vivid colors and that its grayscale differentiation is better. As for the UltraSharp 3007WFP, CNET says its advantages lies in having more options to fiddle with, better text performance and letting us save a good $300.
Verdict: Rich men should go for Dell. Even richer men should go for Apple.
