Similar to the illuminated bar counter that was featured some time ago, the DeLighTable is a small table that interacts to touches with fancy lighting effects.

But instead of projectors and sophisticated tracking systems, the DelighTable is a little simpler. Its surface is opaque liquid sandwiched between a transparent plastic film and the light sources. Hence when touched, the light beneath the liquid is unveiled.

Talk is cheap, check out the video. It is stuck with a big price tag of £1,200 (~US$2,275) though.
