Leica M8. Real or Fake?

Could this really be the Leica M8 rangefinder?

Jorge from RangeFinderForum has put up what are supposedly pictures/renders of a new Leica M8 digital rangefinder. We all know how great Leica lenses and rangefinders are, so a new digital one should add a bit of excitement to the quiet Leica community.

But real pictures or not, you decide.

The rangefinder itself even without any lenses will definitely cost a couple of limbs. Even the current Leica M7 costs around $2,000 to $4,000. So unless you are a hardcore Leica fan, you might be better served with other cameras. But Leica sure has a beautiful history in the photography world. Worth reading up on, if you are interested in photography.
