What’s the next step up from the current 8GB CompactFlash? 16GB of course! Unfortunately, the suggested retail price of US$1,049 seems to be a bit more than what you’ll pay for two 8GBs. I don’t know about you but for photography, I would rather have eight 2GBs. Just so that if one of the card fails, I lose just 2GBs worth of pictures instead of 16GB! But then again, anyone able to fork out a grand for a tiny little card must be shooting with a Hasselblad H3D-39 and need the space for its 39-megapixel files.
