Core 2 Duo Macbook and Macbook Pro this November?

Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro, oh when oh when.

Rumor has it that Macbook and Macbook Pro will be getting some love this November, getting an upgrade from Core Duo to Core 2 Duo processors. The tip was supposedly from “an IT guy at a Swiss university”. I don’t know how credible this guy is, but both models have been out for quite some time and are due for a refresh.

So if either of these Intel-powered Macs is on your shopping list of the month, it might be worthwhile to hold on to your buckaroos and see what happens next month.

Hi Danny, welcome here. A good friend of mine is. So right now, he is struggling to fight the urge to get a Macbook Pro. :D

As for me, I am eyeing on the new 24-inch iMac instead.

Yeah, all the signs show that Apple laptops are due for an upgrade anytime soon. The 24″ iMac is also a great deal for their specs. Good choice!

It’s earlier than predicted, the Macbook Pro are now Core 2 Duo!

Best of all the gap between the pro and consumer laptops are now more distinct than before. Pro users should find this upgrade appealing.
