Thanks to Miss Katie from Shiny Shiny, we now know how awful these cellphones sound. They emit a very high pitched sound, which is supposedly mosquito repelling. I recall reading somewhere that these sound-based repellents don’t really work. So if you have to get one of these, do make sure you prepare a bagful of mosquito to test out its effectiveness at the shop.
