Macbook Pro. Now with Core 2 Duo goodness!

We thought the Macbook Pro equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo processors would be out only next month. Some even predicted as early as next week. Boy, are we wrong. Because Apple has just announced the new Macbook Pro today! Unfortunately, the regular Macbooks are not getting the lovin’ yet.

Apart from the upgrade of Core Duo to Core 2 Duo, the processor speed got boosted from 2.0GHz to 2.16GHz and from 2.16GHz to 2.33GHz. The hard drive sports a larger capacity as well, up from 80GB/100GB/120GB to 120GB/120GB/160GB. And typical of Apple, all these upgrades come without any change in price.

So now is definitely a perfect time to buy yourself a Macbook Pro!

Thanks Danny!

Yeah, the upgrades are definately way better than expected. For me I especially like the new ram capacity of these babes. =)

Let’s just wait for more good news from the Macbooks.

Btw, the US market share of Apple has reached a new height of 6.1%, perhaps it’s time for u to blog more about the Mac (and convert more PC users) since u’ve just made the switch yourself. =D

    My 2 cents.

Definitely, though I try not to turn this into an Apple fan blog. :D

Agree, but having a balance of both sides is always better.
