Not very nice-looking. Great if you got clumsy people in the house!

You will love this if you have:
- an IBM ThinkPad.
- a love for DIY’ing.
- serious Macbook-envy.

Breath from Instructables has published a detailed step-by-step guide to make your very own magnetic power connector for your ThinkPad. Materials used are commonly found in hardware stores. So instead of worrying about the cost, you should be worrying about not doing anything wrong and blowing up your ThinkPad, your home and yourself.

It doesn’t look as elegant as Apple’s MagSafe, but it supposedly works just as fine.

Hop on over to the guide!
