Well, I hate to say it to you Zneon, but the IKEA chair is the knock off and these chairs last for over 10 years. 7 years of warranty, and even if you buy the oldest chair, most of the covers and parts are still available.
Sooo how about my Ikea chair that is two years old and the laminated wood is starting to split?

I’m really looking for a way to buy this beauty…. if only I could convince my bozzzzzz that this thing is very good for my productivity….

WTF…
This is just a modified knock-off of the PÃ¶ang chair that IKEA has been selling for god knows how long. It’s a bit more “anti-gravity”, but the design doesn’t necessarily constitute the 10-fold price tag.
Geez.

How in the heck can you justify over $2300 for that thing?! It’s a cool chair but it would be super easy to build one using easily accessible materials. It’s not much different than many other chairs out there, it just has a different spin to it. That said, if it were $100 I would consider buying it.
