<p>Announced in September and supposedly already available in the market, the <strong>BenQ C800</strong> is a <strong>8-megapixel</strong> digital camera aimed at the casual photo-takers. Priced at only <strong>£147 (US$259)</strong>, the camera comes with a decent <strong>2.4&#8243; 112k pixels LCD screen</strong>, <strong>3x optical zoom</strong>, <strong>MPEG4 movie recording</strong> (640&#215;480 @ 30 fps) , a <strong>Printer Mode</strong> for direct printing to compatible printers, <strong>32MB built-in memory</strong> with support for external <strong>SD memory</strong>, and a nice <strong>4cm macro</strong> focus distance for taking photos of tiny objects. The BenQ C800 also has an interesting <strong>Burst Mode</strong> that fires 4 shots in a single snap.</p>
<div style="float:right;margin-left:10px;"><a href="/wp-images/benqc800_02.jpg" rel="clearbox[310]" title="BenQ C800 Digital Camera" target="_blank"><img src="/wp-images/thumb-benqc800_02.jpg" width="200" height="143" alt="BenQ C800 Digital Camera" class="border" /></a></div>
<p>One of the reason why the BenQ C800 is so cheap, is that it runs on <strong>two AA batteries</strong>. But this could be considered both a blessing or a curse, since rechargable AA batteries are dirt cheap.</p>
<p>Although this camera should be out by now, it doesn&#8217;t seem to be available anywhere online for purchase. So meanwhile, you may want to check out other <a href="http://www.qksrv.net/click-1839955-10370388?SID=benqcamera&#038;loc=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%2Fbenq-camera_W0QQ" rel="nofollow">BenQ digital cameras</a> on eBay.</p>
