Sony has finally announced that the empty Blu-ray discs will begin shipping this month in Europe. For a whooping US$30, you’ll get a measly 25GB single layer BD-R. And in April, the rewritable BD-RE will follow, at a price of $36. Thanks, but no thanks Sony. I’m back to my trusty DVDs for now.
