The Glo Pillow is an alarm pillow that wakes you up gently with a gradually intensifying light. No more screaming alarm clocks! The LED light gradually increases in intensity for 40 minutes, simulating a real sunrise.

And when you lift your head off the pillow, it displays the current time in easy-to-read dot matrix fonts.

Programmable LED Chassis Fan

LED fans which display text on its blades have already been out for quite some time now. But Polo Tech from Taiwan is going one step further, by making LED fans that are programmable to display any text you please.

The fan is said to use an internal USB connection together with its software to make changes to the text displayed. It is even capable of displaying simple graphics. And to avoid flickers, the fan speed has to stay above 2000RPM.

Feeling geeky? Will have to wait till the fan is out, which is expected to be some time next year.
