Ten years. US$40 million. The result is Air Force’s new Active Denial System (ADS). A weapon that is non-lethal, supposedly carries no side-effects, and lets your victims feel as though they’ve been dipped in molten lava.

ADS is a state-of-the-art weapon that shoots a beam of millimeters waves. These waves are longer in wavelength than x-rays but shorter than microwaves. During experiments, no one could endure the pain for more than 5 seconds. If used properly, the ADS will supposedly produce no lasting adverse affects. Or so they say. Who knows?

But while subjects may feel like they have sustained serious burns, the documents claim effects are not long-lasting. At most, “some volunteers who tolerate the heat may experience prolonged redness or even small blisters,” the Air Force experiments concluded.

Critics are still questioning whether the weapon has any side-effects, so the debates might go on for years before we have a verdict if it will ever be used anywhere.

$49.95 each, and the launcher software runs only on Windows. So penguins and apples, be prepared to get pwned by missiles!

It’s very simple really. Just pour WD40 instead of water into your Super Soaker, then burn something at the nozzle and flame away! Everyone should have one on standby to burn down thieves.
